Fantasy games provide excellent opportunities to leverage relationships with professional athletes and celebrities. Their affiliation can generate significant users, especially if they provide prizing such as autographed memorabilia or one-of-a-kind experiences. The winner of RotoHog’s Chris Bosh fantasy league received the opportunity to play video games with Bosh on a brand new X-Box system.

Joseph Addai hosted a fantasy football league and provided regular blog entries that kept fans coming back to the game all season long. Addai also participated in a series of viral videos that were used to market the league across internet blogs and websites like YouTube. Prizing for the league consisted of signed memorabilia.
