RotoHog uses an open market for managers to buy and sell players. During the pre-season, a player's value is primarily based on his projected performance, but once the market goes live on August 29th, a player's price is determined by the entire pool of managers. To maintain fair play, RotoHog systematically monitors trading activity in the market and may regulate certain factors.
As more managers buy a player, his price goes up. If more managers are selling a player, his price goes down. A player's monetary value doesn't count toward your team's score, but shrewdly managing your roster is the key to success.
To buy or sell players, go to the trading floor. Players you already own have a "Sell" button next to their name while the players you can afford have a "Buy" button

Once you click one of these buttons, you'll go to a confirmation page. Since the trading floor is real time, the price could actually change before you confirm the transaction. Only when you click "confirm" is the price that you see on the confirmation page locked.
