Tournaments for the U13 and U16 age groups will commence on Sunday

The schedule and rosters for the 16 regional age-group teams that will compete in the U13 and U16 tournaments starting on March 12 have been made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
In both tournaments, the teams are split into three groups.
“Until March 20, the U13 tournament’s first round will be played in Karachi and Faisalabad. From April 29 to May 3, the top team from each group will compete in a round-robin tri-series before the May 5 final. In a press release, the PCB stated, “The venues for the tri-series and final will be announced in due course.”
From March 12 to 20, the U16 tournament’s first round will also be played in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Gujranwala. From April 30 to May 4, the top team from each group will compete in a round-robin tri-series before the May 6 final. It added, “In due course, the venues for the tri-series and final will be announced.”
The PCB’s Election Commissioner was previously Ahmed Shehzad Farooq Rana, a former Deputy Attorney General and Supreme Court Bar Association Secretary.

In accordance with Article 29 of the PCB Constitution 2014, the appointment was made by Prime Minister and Patron of the PCB, Shahbaz Sharif.
Rana assumed control on Thursday following the notification and met with Najam Sethi, Chair of the PCB Management Committee, to talk about the elections process, which will begin with elections in approximately 50 districts.
Rana has appointed 13 Deputy Election Commissioners in consultation with the Chair of the PCB Management Committee to ensure that the districts’ elections are free, fair, and transparent. The following are the 13 Deputy Election Commissioners: Abdul Malik, Ahsan Ahmed Jatoi, Ch Asim Rasheed, Farhan Zia, Khalid Mitro, Khawar Mehmood, Khushal Kasi, Malik Sardar Khan, Mohsin Shabbir Bhatti, Mubashar Maqsood Jaffar, Mukesh Kumar, Shahbaz Yar Khan, and Shahid Qayum are the other members of this group.
