Shahid Afridi says Mohammad Rizwan was better choice for captain
Pakistan Cricket Board has made Babar Azam the captain of the national cricket team once again.
Former captain Shahid Afridi’s reaction to the change of captain of the national team was also revealed.
In his statement, Shahid Afridi has said that he is surprised at the decision of the experienced players included in the selection committee.
Shahid Afridi has said that if change was necessary, Mohammad Rizwan was the better choice for leadership.
Former captain Shahid Afridi has further said that however now the decision has been made, I have my support and best wishes for Babar Azam.
It should be remembered that the Pakistan Cricket Board has made Babar Azam the captain of the national cricket team once again.
According to PCB, Babar Azam will lead the T20 and ODI team. Before him, Shaheen Afridi was the captain of the team in the T20 format. Babar Azam has represented Pakistan in 52 Tests, 117 ODIs and 109 T20Is.
