In case you’ve been distracted by gestures to all or any of 2020::, we’re here to remind you that punch Productions’ epic original title Ghost of Tsushima gets a free DLC update this Friday, 16th October, with Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.
It’ll bring much content that fans of the stand-out game are posing for, namely New Game+, Multiplayer, and different story and cosmetic options.
Even after catching that Platinum trophy, I’m looking forward to revisiting Jin’s story everywhere again.
Darren Bridges, Senior Game Designer for punch Productions, announced via the PlayStation Blog earlier this year. It explains that Ghost of Tsushima: Legends would be “haunting and fantastical. It is launching with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and stress on cooperative combat and action.”
An updated post from Bridges goes into more detail about this week’s new update. But how does one get the latest content?
What the Viewers Can Expect to Watch
You will get an exclusively cooperative gameplay experience with friends. Moreover, you can play via online matchmaking played in groups of 2-4 players.
You can select every player between four different character classes having various advantages and abilities: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin. Make sure to go to the PlayStation Blog post for an excellent breakdown of each class!
Two-Player: the story of two players and missions that heighten in difficulty. It is building on the inspiration of combat from the single-player campaign. However, with new magical twists, it always requires careful synchronization together with your companion.
Four-Player: combat wave-based Survival missions, fighting groups of the most challenging enemies. Tsushima has got to offer some new Oni enemies with supernatural abilities.
Moreover, for four players, a Raid will arrive quickly after the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It is sending you and your partners to an entirely new realm to challenge a brutal, terrifying enemy.
Gyozen, the Storyteller, “the author and gatekeeper of the stories you’ll find in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends,” will “be happy to share one among his Trans-portative stories about the “Ghosts.” You’ll need to ask Gyozen to urge access to the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends lobby, or go there directly from the title menu, pause menu, or by accepting a PSN invitation from a lover.
Some New Features
New Game+ starts within the open-world shortly after Jin’s initial confrontation with the Khan. You retain your Techniques, Gear, and Vanity items obtained in your previous playthrough. The difficulty is going to be increased to supply a replacement challenge. But you’ll still adjust it down within the menu.
A fresh New Game+ horse, featuring “a vibrant red mane and unique saddle,” are going to be available, alongside “new, extremely powerful Charms available which will help Jin unleash devastating attacks and should change the way you play. You’ll even be ready to unlock a further upgrade for your sword, bow, and armor.”
New Trophies for enjoying Ghost of Tsushima on New Game+ appear during a separate section of your Trophy list; these don’t count toward Ghost of Tsushima’s Platinum Trophy.
New Game+ Ghost Flowers and Ghost Flower Merchant: “You can get the new sort of flower in New Game+. And it is accepted by a mysterious new merchant that you’ll find in Ariake.
If you complete a Tale or activity and have already got the reward, you’ll earn Ghost Flowers in its place. So albeit you’ve completed JIn’s journey before, it’s still exciting to explore Tsushima once more to gather as many Ghost Flowers as you’ll.
You can exchange these flowers for brand spanking new armor dyes and other vanity gear only found in New Game+, featuring far more elaborate designs than those found in your first playthrough.
The merchant also will offer an array of powerful new Charms intended to make new combat experiences, empower existing playstyles, and permit you to customize your experience for even greater challenges!”
Reasonably fans favorite new addition to the game: Quick-change Armor Load outs! “When you will install this version 1.1 then you’ll get the choice to enable Armor Load outs.
However, it also permits you to assign all Charms and vanity items to every armor. Here you can set these armor to quickly swap between load-outs to match your play style and role-playing preferences.”
All that and more arrives this Friday, 16th October, in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends!
